Sunrise in Auriga

During this 15-second exposure from Somerville MA, the docked International Space Station and Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-128) emerged from the Earth's shadow and moved (left to right) into direct sunlight in the constellation Auriga, passing near the bright star ι Aur. Perseus is above, and the Pleiades star cluster is in the upper right.
